This project took an old bangle which was hallmarked as 9ct Yellow Gold but was also stamped with 'Wax Filled'. We cut this open to have a look. A hard green wax was inside, this was to help prevent distortion on the bangle as it is hollow. We melted down all the Yellow Gold together and then turned this into a plan 3.5mm wide band. This was then set with 8 equidistant diamonds supplied from the halo of the old engagement ring.
