Our Customer came into us with two 18ct White Gold rings and an old Opal family ring. She wanted to use the old 18ct jewellery to make a better, more substantial version of the family Opal ring. We set about designing a version that stayed true to the original style of the ring, but was more robust - thicker and deeper in many places. We then sourced a selection of Opals for the customer to view and chose one from. Once selected, we cast her metal into the new piece, finished, set and hallmarked the ring.
It is possible to use your 18ct white gold to make a new piece from, do contact us to get in touch about your project.
