This jewellery remodelling project involved unsetting the Rubies and Diamonds from a Ring and pair of earrings. A new design was drawn up with the stones smooth to the touch using rub over settings. A rubber mould was made using the 'master' design and a wax model was produced. The gold was melted to together and cast into the new piece via a 'lost wax' casting process. The cast ring was then hand finished and the gemstones set.
