Collection: Medieval Collection

Our Medieval Collection features a mix of items that have been cast directly from originals to make direct replicas and also items we have designed based on designs from the period. The Medieval period which is sometimes referred to as 'The Middle Ages', runs from 5th to late 15th Centuries. Following the collapse of the Roman Empire, the period saw huge change. Faceted gemstones appear around the 14th Century, before this stones were usually polished into shapes. The collection features historically accurate designs including stone types and precious metals available at the time.
